Hi my name is Jihye kim.
I'm from South-korea and living in Maryland.
Last June, I got married and came to the U.S.
I have been here for more than one year.
During one year, I studied english for free in the library by Native englinsh teacher.
I met so various international friends in this class and developed my english ability.
And I also passed the NCLEX-RN exam before one-month.
But I can't work here because I don't have working-permit.
I even have to wait at least three years until I can work legally.
So I searched Universities to study.
But that was so expensive and also It was not affordable to me.
So I'm so depressed and feel like I'm nothing in this nation.
But my husband is so busy because he is a PhD student so he can't care me enoughly. And he even said he is also depressed because nowdays I'm depreesed.
I don't know what I have to do.
I can't depend on anybody. :(
During one-month my brain was likely to break.
I thought I just need to suty english hard when I'm living in the U.S.
not just complaining of my situation.
So I joined in lang-8 on the recommendation of my friend.
Please help me. ^^;;
And I also help you to learn Korean.
Be my friend!

Hi. My name is Jihye kim.
I'm from South Korea and currently living in Maryland.
During One year, I studied was taught English for free in the library by a native englinsh teacher English speaker.
I met so various international friends in this class and developed my English speaking ability.
And I also passed the NCLEX-RN exam before in one month.
But However, I can't work here because I don't have a working permit.
I even have to wait at least three years until I can work legally.
So Therefore, I searched for Universities at which to study.
In spoken English, you can get by with saying: I searched for universities to study at.
But that was so expensive and also It was not affordable to me.
So I'm so depressed and feel like I'm not accomplishing nothing anything in this nation.
But To make matters worse, my husband is so very busy because he is a PhD student so he can't care me enoughly.
And He even said he is also depressed because nowadays I'm depressed.
During one month my brain was likely to break.
You can say: One month, it felt like my head was going to explode.
I thought I just needed to suty english study English hard when while I'm living in the U.
I do not want to just complaining of about my situation.
And I can also help you to learn Korean.
You are so kind ^^~
Nice to meet you ^^!
Hi, my name is Jihye Kim.
I have been here for more than a year.
what you said was correct, but this is more natural :)
For one year, I studied english for free in a library with a native English speaker.
Was this in America or in Korea? That's a little unclear
I met a lot of international friends in that class and improved my english ability.
I would say "developed my english skills" or "improved my english ability" ^^
But that was so expensive and also It was not affordable for me.
Also, my husband is very busy because he is a PhD student, so he can't spend a lot of time with me, which makes me feel even worse.
And He even said he is also depressed now because nowdays I am.
For a month my brain was likely to break.
This isn't a phrase that is really used in English. Depending on your meaning, you could say "For a month the stress was unbearable" or "For a month I felt as though my head would burst".
It really depends on the source of your distress :)
I had thought that I would just need to study english hard while I was living in the U.
Your english is great! Good job ^^ I hope that you feel happier soon
