I went to work this morning though it`s my day off. The first day of Summer Intensive was okay, not as crazy as I expected. The kids were good, they loved the mini fans we gave them as a gift for signing up for the Summer Intensive Class. Parents didn`t complain much. Everything went well.
I sometimes feel sorry for kids in China nowadays, they have too many "training courses" to take apart from those in their public schools. They have barely any time for their own. Well, it ends the day GaoKao arrives. Poor them, a long way to go.
Anyway, I don`t want to keep talking about the Chinese Education System or something serious, there`s nothing much I can do.
It`s summer time, and it`s roasting outside, but I still feel like playing badmintion tomorrow afternoon. Although that place is heck hot, like a big oven, seriously, it`s made of iron which heats up easily. And when I play badminton I play like I`m crazy. But sweating makes me feel healthy and alive, and I`m kind of wondering how much heat I can take, or like how long I could keep going.
By the way, I like taking photos. I`ll post photos I took after every journal. And it may not relate to what I write. Thanks.

(The) kids were good. They loved the mini fans we gave them as a gift for signing up for the Summer Intensive Class. Parents didn`t complain much. Everything went well.
It's better if you split this into four sentences.
You can say "Kids were good" but if you are writing usually you follow more formal English so you would put in 'the'. Otherwise it's very casual, like how you would speak with friends.
I sometimes feel sorry for kids in China nowadays. They have too many "training courses" to take except other than/apart from those in their public schools.
They have barely have no any time for to their own. themselves.OR They have barely/hardly any free time.
Well, it ends till the day GaoKao arrives.
'Till' is the same as 'until'. They mean 'up to a point'.
e.g. Summer Intensive will run till/until GaoKao arrives.
I lived in Ireland till/until October 2012.
When giving directions people will often use 'until'
e.g. Walk straight until you see McDonald's, then turn right.
Poor them, a long way to go.

I've never heard 'heck hot' said before. It makes sense I guess.
You could say 'hot as hell'. If you were me you would say 'hot as fuck'.
And when I play badminton I play like I`m crazy.
no need for ,

It's a little strange to write 'or like'. People often say it, but writing is usually a little more formal. It's okay if you just want to write casually like you were talking though.
BTW, I like taking photos. I`ll post photos I took after every journal.
I would write 'By the way', but I'm a stickler for formality in written English as I'm sure you can tell.
