My father liked that name very much, but he hasitated to name his daughter the prince's name, so he changed the Chnese character of the name.
My husband was named after a very talented boy who played vibraphone.
His father named my husband.

I was born when the present Emperor was a prince so the Empress Michiko was princess Michiko at that time.
She was the first princess from public so people called her "Mitchy" and very popilar.
