A funning spring festival scroll in English. The first couplet is "Eat well sleep well have fun day by day", the second couplet is "Study hard work hard make money more and more", and the top scroll is "Gelivable".
Facing the excellent writing, I'm at a loss for words. I'm embarrassed to say I even can not write a Chinese couplet, let alone in English. What a kick-ass writer!

I think "funny" is what you meant to write here.
I'm embarrassed to say I can not even write a Chinese couplet, let alone one in English.
The word order sounds more normal the way I corrected it.

Always for me: Red = corrections, blue = suggestions or alternative wording.
I found this English language spring festival scroll humorous.
I'm embarrassed to say I even can not write a Chinese couplet, let alone in English.
That's why I say, "I want to write Chinese better than most people in China" when I write my autobiography. Most people cannot write well in their native langauge, including (and perhaps especially) Americans.
