I had been learnning English for a few years,
when I tried to read articles on the Internet and books written in English.
When I read these, I found I was hardly able to understand these meanings!
I had never seen a lot of words and expressions!
I kept on learning English but what did I get?
I could't read just articles or books in English!
I thought I must change what I was so I added some new books which teached English into my study.
For instace, the books were for vocabulary building.
These consist of articles and sentences written by native speakers,
and I didn't make out the usage and meanings immediately.
However, I tackled with these books and continue these now.
Though I haven't finished to read the books, I want to use the words and expressions I learned from the books.
I think so but I have no chance to use these.

You don't need ''when'' here =).
When I read these, I found I was hardly able to understand their meaning!
I had never seen so many words and expressions!
This way is much more natural.
I could'nt even read just articles or books in English!
''even'' is a better word than ''just'' for emphasis here.
I thought I must change what I was so I added some new books which taught English into my study.
Hard past form! 頑張って!
For instance, the books were for vocabulary building.

That's why we are on Lang-8. There is no Japanese where I live :)
There isn't much English where I live either. I learned all my English because I use the Internet a lot. When I was a child, I would watch all my movies and play all my video games in English. On the Internet, I would only visit english sites and always participate in english forums where you can discuss with other people! Lang-8 is a little bit like a forum when you leave comments like this.
I suggest finding a forum in an interest that you like a lot. For me, video game or music forums are always so interesting.
I want to join some in Japanese.. when I get a little bit better. English and Japanese are so different.. but you know that already don't you.. :)
Good luck, my friend.
I should participate in english forums.
I think I'll join those with ease.
My English is improved by reading aloud, shadowing or dictation.
At first, I felt like crying for difficulty. lol
Thanks so much, my friend!
Um, I must learn how to express my gratitude in many ways. lol
Did you get it?
Please confirm.:D
