Niko-niko douga
Do you know "Niko-niko douga"?
It's a service to look and show pictures, movies, and other contents like You tube.
If you have heard "Hatsune Miku", It was born in there.
Today, Niko-niko douga was taken up and selected as the theme in a Japanese TV program.
I'm great suprised ... amazing, really.
Because the Niko-niko douga users are almost "2channel" users.
Then, "2channel" users have been badly treated as the minority in Japan.
They often regarded in the same light as "otaku", it's rather right in fact, and "otaku" has felt eery(weird? I can't select) by many Japanese people.
But today, I found Japanese society changing.
The TV program is "Cambria kyuden(=palace)" ,it's the middling toned program such as the president of Toyota or other famous companies appeared.
The president of dowango (a company produces Niko-niko douga) appeared it,too.
It may be one of a turning point.
The carriers of consumption of young age in Japan is changing.
Probably they are the minority still, but I think they improve their position.
Of course, I am one of the "minority".
I wish that people would be able to announce openly their hobby although they're anime and games in Japan.
You tube
Oh... I'm tired because I never wrote long sentence as it in English.
Perhaps there is many mistakes, please correct it.

Niko-niko Nico Nico Douga
Just a small typo. Nico Nico Douga is the correct name.
If you have heard of "Hatsune Miku", it was born in there.
I'm greatly surprised ... (or: I'm extremely/very surprised)
It is amazing, really.
They often regarded in the same light as "otaku", it's rather right in fact, and "otaku" has felt eery weird
"eery" feels like a word for having a scared feeling. I like the word "weird" better. But I do not know what you mean exactly by "'otaku' has felt weird". Do you mean the name of "Otaku" is weird? Do you mean Otaku people are weird?
I'm tired because I never wrote long sentence as it like this in English.
Or maybe you wanted to say something else?
Ahhh, you're right. Otaku's are a very small minority. I think they only hang out in Akihabara. Every where else is nothing like Akihabara.
Have you watched Densha Otoko (電車男)? Great show! Reading this reminds me of it! :)
I'm glad to hear Otaku culture is becoming more accepted!!
I usually feel uneasy when I write in English.
It was worth doing. Thank you.
I have never gone to Akihabara, I hope to go there while it doesn't change.
Yes,I watched Densha Otoko on TV, and I bought the novel of Densha Otoko. It's exiting,I think.
Oh,I got it. You know 2channel by it,may be. I see,haha.
I'm glad to know you have same mind.
And you're welcome! :)
It's a service where you can both to look and show upload pictures, movies, and other contents like You tube.
This is just a another way you could have said it.
If you have heard "Hatsune Miku", It was born in there. This is the site that helped make Hatsune Miku so famous.
They are often regarded in the same light as "otaku"which I think is fairly accurate. it's rather right in fact, and "otaku" has felt eery(weird?
When you say "'otaku' has felt weird," do you mean that they feel weird because people associate "2 channel" users with otaku?
I can't select) by many Japanese people.
Not quite sure what you mean here.
The president of Dowango, the a company that produces Niko-niko douga, appeared it, was featured too.
It may be one of a turning point.
The carriers of consumption of young age in Japan is changing.(Young people who drive consumption) in Japan are changing.(Young consumers)
Probably they are the minority still, but I think they are improving their position.
I wish that people would be able to announce openly their hobby although whether they're anime and or games in Japan.
>"Otaku"
I intended to mean "Otaku" as people who like anime ,games, or other subculture.
In Japan most of people think that "2channel" users are "Otaku". It was strong affected from TV programs. Above all,"Densha-otoko" (train man) was so famous. Do you know?
At first, many Japanese people felt weird about "Otaku". Then, they realized that most of "2channell" users ,they are usually to be called "2channeller", are "Otaku", they felt weird about them too.
I don't know how I write in English about that, but try to do.
In the beginning, they were badly thought because they liked subculture such as anime . It was not the reason that they use "2channnel" ,probably.
But crime with using Internet anonymous forum has increased today. There are quite a few people who felt dislike about use it.
