Recently I have a housing problem. Because my host family have to move another place.
It's really sad thing. They are really awesome and so kind to me.
To distract me from this problem, I read the book, "Catcher in the rye"
When I was high school student, I really love this book,and totally empathize with Holden Caulfield, protagonist in this book. His story is exactly what I felt at that time.
But when I read this book in English, what I feel is quiet different from what I felt.
Although the style of writing is much more realistic than in Korean, I can't feel what I felt.
And I realize that I have been changing to another person.

He seemed to feel exactly what I felt (I was feeling) at that time.
However when I read this/the book in English, I didn't feel (quite) the same way about the book.
Although the style of writing was much more realistic than in Korean, I didn't feel the same connection with Holden Caulfield as/that I did/had before.
And I realize now (realized) that this is due to the fact that I'm not the same person as I was before.
