When short spell of the rain with the sun shine, Korean people call it Fox Rain. There is one story which is the my favorite story and my grand mother used to tell me it.
Once upon time, A fox encountered tiger called king of animals in the forest.
At that time tiger was so hungry so he tried to hunt the fox.
but clever fox use his brain and said "If you eat me, my friend will come and hunt you"
Tiger who was pride of himself didn't believe fox but he was so curious.
Fox said "you want to see stronger than you, follow me"
Finally tiger followed the fox. when they were running, the other animal ran away from them
Interestingly tiger became confused because he thought that the reason why the other animals run away from them is that because fox's stronger friend is following them!!
And tiger stopped follow the fox and beg his life. "please don't eat me"
Clever fox who desired to get power want to be married with tiger.
tiger also want to marry so both of them became couple.
When they were marring, Cloud who had loved fox, cried and cried.
It is reason why we call spell of the rain with the sun shine "Fox Rain" or the day tiger and fox get married.
I write one of my favorite tales :) Do you have similar expression in your country?

"Please don't eat me."

Something I noticed is that you used "a fox", "the fox", and "fox/Fox". There is a slight difference between these three. "A fox" means any fox in general. So "A fox encounters..." is about any random fox. "The fox" is about a specific fox. So "the tiger wanted to hunt the fox" means this specific tiger wanted to hunt this specific fox he saw; not just any random fox. And if you just use "fox", it doesn't really make sense because the f is lower case. But if you use "Fox," it could mean the fox is named Fox. Same thing for "a tiger", "the tiger", and "tiger/Tiger".
Thank you for your clear explanation :)
