First of all, this movie is battle between Alien scouts ship and three multinational combat ships.
Why "combat ship", not "battle ship"?
Because there are differences between "battleship " and "state- of-the-art combat ship".
former is very sturdy because of covered by thick steel plate. On the other hand, latter itself is fragile instead of having high-performance radar and Long-range missile.
It is the key point to make war on "the aliens scouts with less ammunition."...
...oh, It's troublesome...
If you want to know why, please go to theater:-)
At any rate, this movie is refreshing and straightfoward !
So I recommend you this movie
thank you

I Watched "Battleship"
I applied the capitalization rules in titles.
First of all, this movie is a battle between an alien scout (you don't need the plural form because this is a modifier) ship and three multinational combat ships.
Why "combat ship", and not "battle ship"?
Because there are some (to make it sound more complete) differences between a "battleship " and a "state-of-the-art combat ship".
The former is very sturdy because of it is covered by with thick steel plates.
On the other hand, the latter itself (not needed here) is fragile instead of having a high-performance radar and long-range missiles. (not just one, i think?)

Adjectives do not inflect for number in English.

The former is very sturdy due to being covered by thick steel plates.
Jian's suggestion also works.
On the other hand, the latter is fragile, having high-performance radar and long-range missiles instead of the armor.
This is the key strategy for making war on "the aliens scouts with less ammunition..."
So I recommend this movie to you
Some verbs don't take an object. We call them "intransitive verbs". The verb "sit" is a good example of an intransitive verb. You can modify it with adverbs and prepositional phrases and whatnot, but it will never take any objects. "I sat on the ground."
Other verbs can take both direct and indirect objects. A good example is "give". "Tom gave Mary flowers." Mary is the indirect object, because she received the flowers that Tom gave.
However, some verbs can take a direct object but NOT take an indirect object. Examples of this kind of verb include "say" and "recommend". If you want to indicate _who_ the subject says it to or _who_ the subject recommends it to, you can add a prepositional phrase, usually introduced by "to". With these verbs, you can't leave out the "to" and make the recipient an indirect object of the verb, because these verbs don't take an indirect object.
(In some cases, you also have the option of switch to a different verb. Instead of "say", you can use "tell", which does take an indirect object. However, I can't think of such an alternative for "recommend".)
