Punic War and Japan
I think that Carthage, Which lost Punic War resembles Japan, which lost The Second World War in many respects. I have two reasons why I think so. The
first is that During Punic War, not only the warriors but also ladies and even children fought and were killed like Okinawa in Pacific War. The second reason is that the relation between Carthage and Rome is similar to that between Japan and United States. The good example is the contents of the piece treaty. The part of it is the renunciation of their own army and territories which conquered at one time, paying a lot of compensation and the like. In other respects Carthage developed their economic remarkably like Japan. As a result, Carthage became the one of best developed country in economic temporarily. For the reasons above, I think that Carthage have many point which is very similar to Japan.

You know, in the old days, including up to the 20th Century, national interests were most often promoted through military action.
Things changed after WWII.
Now, a county's national interests are promoted through international trade. Japan is perhaps the best example of successful international trading.
You seem to be describing the first Punic war; I certainly thing the results (the peace treaty) are similar ... but I wonder who is your Hannibal, and I worry who is "Rome's" Cato the Elder...

The Punic War and Japan
Usually when there is a common noun (war) in a name (Punic War), we have to use "the".
I have two reasons why I think so. for this.
The first is that during the Punic War, not only did the warriors fight and die, but also so did the ladies women and even children, fought and were killed like in Okinawa in during the Pacific War.
The A good example is the contents of their piece peace treaties.
If their relationships are similar, then there are many reasons for the similarity. That's why we use "a".
The Part of it is the renunciation of their own army and territories which they conquered at one time, paying a lot of compensation and the like and so on.
I don't understand whose territories and armies were are talking about. Also, who conquered and whom did they conquer. I think you need to use all proper nouns through here to clarify.
As a result, Carthage temporarily became the had one of the best developed country in economies temporarily. (in the world).
For the above reasons above, I think that Carthage have many point which is very similar to Japan.
That is a really difficult topic to write about! Good job. :)
