What is the tradition of Japan?
Few days before, while writing about Botamochi and Ohagi(two of Japanese foods),
I got a question about Japanese tradition.
There are many unique foods in Japan.
For example, Sushi, Tempura and Unagi(eel) are popular around world.
However, I do not know many "traditional" Japanese foods.
It is because that almost popular Japanese foods are invented at best in Edo Age(1603-1868).
Sushi, Tempura and Unagi also.
In addition, high-class foods are fewer.
Three famous foods above ware originally kinds of fast foods.
Of cource, there is should not no high-class food with long history.
But it is sometime a local food in Kyoto.
I do not know any high-class food that its history is shared by all Japanese,
except Tofu.
