When I was a kid, my cousin and I exchanged many letters with each other.
I suggest the verb "to exchange" instead.

In this case, "still" is better than "yet".

하나 질문해도 될까요?
저는 "to"와 "for"가 너무 헷갈려요.
TO:
>direction (going to), transfer, movement
"I will go to school."
"I talk to her."
"Please write a letter to your mother." (write to your mother)
FOR:
>purpose, benefit
"I exercise for my health."
"I do this for you."
"This car is for students only."
"Please write a letter for your mother." (letter that is for your mother)
In most cases, you can use either but it also sometimes depends on what sounds better.
I sure you're a good English teacher!!!!
