I bring pack lunch prepare by my mother.

so I bought a 햇반 on the way to work.
그래서 저는 회사에 출근하는 길에 햇반을 샀어요.

I usually bring a packed lunch prepared by my mother.
"usually" would complete the thought
"packed" and "prepared" work as adjectives
But my mother was is ("now") sick so I can’t bring one. ("a packed lunch")
so Instead I bought a (bowl of) 햇반 on the my way to work.
we already used "so", so I changed it to "instead"
