Overwhelmed By an Unexpected Favor

I have a cold, so often have a cough. Last night, I suddenly began to cough and it lasted for a few minutes. My roommate suggested me drinking some water, but I was sitting in my bed watching a movie, and I didn't feel thirsty at that time. So I went on watching the movie and went on cough. But my roommate got off her bed, and brought me a glass of water! Wow! I really felt that I was overwhelmed by an unexpected favor.

This is an idiom "受宠若惊" that means a person feel happy and uneasy because of unexpected appreciate or favor.

I like how regular it is, it makes it incredibly easy to learn. Also, it's fun to be able to go into a chat room with people from lots of different countries and speak the same language.

Very! It usually takes only 10-15% as long to learn as natural languages. Last time I read about it, I think there were several million people around the world that speak it, scattered all over.
