One of my Lang-8 friends wrote about a Filipino woman who go out a Japanese man in order to have his children.
If she has a child with a Japanese father, she can stay in Japan even though she isn't married to him.
My friend thinks Filipino women come to Japan to achieve the goal.
He feels uncomfortable that Filipino women try to seduce Japanese middle-aged men at bars.
When I read the post, I felt mixed feelings because I'm taking English lessons from Filipino teachers.
They are different from women whom my friend mentioned about, since the tutors are well educated, and have excellent work experiences.
There is a wide gap between rich and poor in the Philippines so there are many people who are not able to have enough education.
In addition, I heard that lots of women are suffering from violent husbands or those who are unemployed for a long time.
However, it is very difficult to divorce them because of their religious reasons.
Therefore, the environment around women in the Philippines is harsh.
If they want to get out of poverty and get a ticket for a better life, goint to Japan is one of their options.
It is true that some Japanese look down on Filipino women who work at bars, but they do it to survive.
However, it is also true that there are Japanese men who go there to relax.

Your English is good. I was able to understand all of it.
Keep up the good work.
I have a question. Do you sometimes say "mention about"?
Thank you for your help.
I wasn't sure about the context of your question but hopefully I answered it properly.
>They are different from women whom my friend mentioned about, since the tutors are well educated, and have excellent work experiences.
Does this sentence sound unnatural or wrong if you don't use "about" after mentioned?
Apparently, it's a common mistake to use "about" after "mention". So it's technically wrong.
my bad
However, it doesn't sound unnatural to me. (even though it's improper grammar)
Thank you for pointing it out. You are right. "mention about" is wrong because mention is transitive.
I've just wrote about this issue.
One of my Lang-8 friends wrote about a Filipino woman who had the intention of 'snaring' a Japanese man.
If she has a child with a Japanese father, she can stay in Japan even though she isn't married to him.
If she has a child with a Japanese citizen, she would by law, be allowed to stay here, even if they were not married.
My friend thinks Filipino women come to Japan with that sole reason in mind.
He feels uncomfortable that Filipino women try to seduce Japanese middle-aged men in bars.
When I read the post, I had mixed feelings because I'm taking English lessons from Filipino teachers.
They are different from the women about whom my friend mentioned, since the tutors are well educated, and have excellent work experiences/references.
There is a wide gap between (the) rich and (the) poor in the Philippines, so there are many people (who are) unable to have a proper education.
In addition, I heard that lots of women are having to cope with domestic violence, and the effects of long term unemployment.
However, it is very difficult get divorced because of their (Catholic) religious beliefs
Therefore, the environment surrounding women in the Philippines is harsh.
If they want to get out of poverty and get a ticket for a better life, goint to Japan is one of their options.
If they want to escape the poverty and find a better life, then Japan is a viable option.
However, it is also true that there are Japanese men who go there to 'relax'.
