I got burned a little on my face, it was not nasty, but it got patchy red.

I was deep-frying pork with bread crumbles, and I added a few cloves of garlic with skin in the hot oil.

The deep fried garlic is my favorite, because the skin easily comes off, and the taste is like potato.

However, the hot oil came into between the skin and garlic, and exploded yesterday.

The hot oil splashed everywhere including on my clothes and face.

I've been cooking for more than twenty years, and this is one of the incidents that hurt me.

I wouldn't deep fry if I get older, since I may cause fire.
