My mother and I went to a department store to buy her winter coat.

She prefers consavative colour, like other elderly Japanese.

They tend to choose dark colour clothes , because they are stiick to the idea that the elderly should look their age.

On the other hand, Western elderly wear bright colour clothes regardless of their age, which looks their skin bright, more than that, it would inspire them to feel happy.

I recommended wearing a pistachio green coart to my mother.

She hesitated to put on it at first, but she ended up buying it.

I guess that adventurous spirits also helps the elderly to cheer up.
