Living with my old parents needs lots of patience, because they move very slowy.
年とった両親を暮らすのは、多くの我慢が必要だ。ゆっくり動くから。

For example, it takes them two times as much to finish brushing their teeth as me.
例えば、私に比べて歯磨きの時間が2倍かかる。

By the way, I'm always confused how to use comparison, as ~as.
ところで、as~asの比較級をどう使うのか迷う。

In conversational English, I think the above sentence sounds too formal.
会話では、上の文は、堅苦しいと思う。

When do you use as~as in your daily life?
いつas~asを日常使うか?

For instance, "Today isn't as hot as yesterday."
例えば、「今日は昨日ほど暑くない」

if I put my sentence into a casual one, "As for brushing teeth, they take twice long."??
もし私の文をカジュアルにしたら、「歯磨きだと、2倍時間がかかる」
