Jumbo robot start to be sold
巨体ロボットが販売開始

At last, jumbo robot started to be sold in Japan. It is unbelievable story, but it's true.
ついに巨大ロボットが日本で販売されることになった。信じ難い話だが、本当である。

Robot's name is "KURATASU", Suidobashi Heavy Industry developed this. Overall height is 3.8 meters, weight is 4 tons. It costs one million three hundred fifty five hundred dollars(about one hundred six million ), if it is without customize.
ロボットの名前は「KURATASU」と言い水道橋重工が開発しました。全高3.8メートル、重さ4トンあるという。価格は、カスタマイズなしの状態で135万3500ドル（＝約1億600万円）。

This robot runs on robot operation system of next generation called "V-sido". It seems that this name was parodied Bushido(武士道).
このロボットには次世代ロボットオペレーションシステム「V-sido」が搭載されている。この名前は、「武士道」をもじられたようだ。

In cockpit, you can look in front and behind by big monitor. Using "V-sido" is possible to operate by joystick or touch-panel or iPhone and to grab something by robot's hand.
コクピットでは、大画面モニターにより前後を見る事ができます。「V-sido」を使用することにより操縦桿やタッチパネル、iPhoneでも操縦することができ、手で物をつかむことも可能だ。

And it can lock on a target mark, and fire six thousand BBs shots in a minute by gatling gun.
また、標的をロックオンする事ができ、ガトリング銃でBB弾を1分間に6000発撃つ事もできるという。

And it equip with missile as well. Of course, these are weapons that have killing power. So don't worry.
またミサイルも搭載されています。勿論、これらの武器は殺傷能力はないオモチャなので、ご安心を。

Name of Suidobashi Heavy Industry which was developed, is not company, it is name of unit consisted of two person.
これを開発した水道橋重工というのは会社ではなく、2人からなるユニット名らしい。

Yes, this robot was made by only 2 person. This is product orroborating with Mr.Yoshida's opperation system "V-sido" and Mr.Kurata's robot's body.
そう、これはたった2人だけで作ったのである。吉崎氏のオペレーションシステム「V-sido」、倉田氏のロボット本体のコラボした作品なのだ。

This is so expensive vehicle, but if I am oil magnate of Arab, I'd like to buy this quickly.lol
とても高価な乗り物だが、自分がアラブの石油王だったら即購入したいものである。（笑）

Long time no see. Lately, I'm sorry for stoping writing my journal . 
こんにちは、皆さん。
久しぶりですね。最近、日記を書かなくてごめんなさい。

It is not the case that I was busy always and I have something else I have to do. I'm just loafing on my journal . 
忙しくて、他にやらなくてはならない事があったって訳ではないんです。ただ、日記をサボってただけです。。。

I'm embarrassing...
だから僕の英語が成長してないって気がついたよね？本当に恥ずかしいです。

By the way, recently I went circus with my family at the first time in my life. 
ところで、最近、家族と一緒に人生初のサーカスに行ってきました。

The circus called "Kinoshita big circus", This is one of three major circus in the world.
木下大サーカスというサーカスで、世界三大サーカスの一つです。

The circus are going to perform publicly from July 29th to September 3rd in Sapporo city.
札幌市で6月29日から9月3日まで公演される予定です。

We could see trapeze, trick of animals( lions, zebras, elephants and giraffe), and many acrobats. 
僕達は、空中ブランコや動物の曲芸（ライオン、シマウマ、象、キリン）やたくさんの曲芸師達を見る事が出来ました。

I was so exciting!!! 
And I could have a special experience for me there.
凄く興奮しました！そしてそこで僕にとって特別な経験をする事が出来ました。

There were a man clown and a woman clown. So I didn't know why, but a man clown chose me to let me go on the stage. 
男のピエロと女のピエロがいて、何でか分からないけど、男のピエロがステージに上げるために僕を選びました。

I danced and kissed a beautiful woman clown. lol
Standing the stage is feeling so nice:) 
I was in luck:) 
僕はそこで踊って、綺麗な女性のピエロとキスをしたんだ。
ステージに立つって気持ちが良いね。ツイてたよ(^^)
 
And I really wanted to backflip on the stage, but I could not do that, because I was embarrassing :(
あと本当はステージでバク宙をしたかったんだけど、恥ずかしくて出来なかった。

I have to practice doing trapeze until I'm going to go again.lol
また行くときまでには、空中ブランコを練習しとかなくちゃね。

Edo means ancient Tokyo.
About 200 years ago, Edo had 2million people in the edo period.

There are a famous "Snow Festival" in Sapporo.
Recently this festival grew up that attendance is 2 million people as same as "Snow Festival" for only 20 years.
300 teams, 30 thousand people will dance with music in some place Sapporo city.
There are 150 people at the most in a team.

When you stayed in Japan, do you have any experience that you was stared or was avoided by Japanese?
日本に滞在中、日本人にジロジロ見られたり避けられたりする経験は無いだろうか？

I think that's one of disliking thing, when foreigner visited to Japan.
外国人が日本に来た時、嫌に思う一つだと思う。

But don't get us wrong! We don't hate you.
でも、誤解しないで欲しい！君達が嫌いなのではないんです。

We are just interesting in foreigners because of rare, but  Japanese will end up getting them wrong for being scared because most Japanese cann't speak English.
ただ、外国人が珍しく興味があるんだけど、英語が出来ないので話しかけられるのが恐くて避けてしまうんです。

 I will not get them wrong, because I wanna be good friend. I'm interested in them,so I might end up staring at them. You might look be glare, because I have single-edged eyelid. But it isn't true.
僕は、外国人と仲良くなりたいので、避けたりしないけど、興味があるので、ジロジロ見てしまうかもしれません。一重まぶたなので睨んでるように見えるかもしれません。。。でも、違うんですよ。

I'm sorry about that, if you feel unhappy like this in Japan.
もし、日本でこんな嫌な思いをしたらごめんなさいね。。。

I want to grow more Japanese internationalization!

日本紙幣の秘密

There are four kind of paper-money in Japan.(500yen, 1,000yen, 2,000yen, 5,000yen, 10,000yen)
日本には、4種類の紙幣があります。（500円, 1,000円, 2,000円, 5,000, 10,000円）

Japanese paper-money is the least forged paper money in the world.
世界でもっとも偽造紙幣が少ないのです。

Japan has the highest technique of printing in the world.
日本は、世界で最も高い印刷技術があります。

For example, in 10,000yen paper-money case.
例えば、一万円札の場合。

You might be able to look just lines on part of it. But they are not lines. They are so many small characters. These size is 0.25mm.They are written "NIPPON GINKO". "NIPPON GINKO" means Japanese bank.
一万円札の一部は、線にしか見えないけど、線ではありません。沢山の小さな文字なんです。大きさは0.25mmです。『NIPPON GINKO』と書かれています。『NIPPON GINKO』の意味は、日本銀行です。

There are also other small characters and water-mark and raised letters shaped like a donuts on them.
お札には他にも小さな文字や透かしやドーナツみたいな形の点字があります。

 Inks used are bright by black light. And lines are very thin, so nobody can print like thin.
使われたインクは、ブラックライトに光ります。そして線が細いので、誰にもこんなに細く印刷ができません。

There are many other high technologies in them. You will find that, if you can get Japanese money. You might be able to find out something as  a new secret.:)

Do you know Ninja? It is famous, isn't it? Ninja is spy of long ago. Iga and Koga are famous in ninja's village.

忍者の里は、伊賀と甲賀が有名です。

Actually I didn't know it, but it seems that current last living ninja became Mie university professor.
僕も知らなかったのですが、現代に生きる最後の忍者が、三重大学の教授になったらしいです。

He is Koga school 21st suzerain, and his name is Jinichi Kawakami.
彼は、甲賀流21代目宗主で名前は、川上 仁一氏です。

Former suzerain teaches him ninjutsu (ninja art), and instruct martial arts and a way of trespass and a way of disguise and a way of compounding medicine, etc.
6歳の頃より先代より忍術を教えられ、武術、侵入法、変装法、くすりの調合法などを伝授されたという。

It seems he teaches ninja technique in Univercity.
大学で彼は、忍者学を教えるそうです。

It been a long time since I drove a car.
I went to Takikawa city by my car with my parents yesterday.

It took 2 hours by car from Sapporo I live to Takikawa.

Yesterday was a little cloudy, but not bad weather.
The purpose that we went there, was to look at rape blossoms.

Recently, Takikawa is a famous for rape blossoms.

This picture I took are beautiful Takikawa's rape blossoms.

What a picturesque!

スチール製の小さな玉を現金で買い、台のいくつかの穴に入れて、数字が揃えば玉が沢山出てきます。

You can change snack foods and products from balls, it is illegal that you  will change money from balls in parlor.
この玉をお菓子や商品に交換するのですが、パチンコ屋で現金に交換するのは、違法になります。

But you can change the money at other company.
しかし別業者の現金交換所で現金に変えることができます。

This is highly addictive, because this is gambling, this become social problem.
これは、ギャンブルなんで中毒性があり、社会問題にもなっています。

Incidentally I hate gambling.lol
Because I hate losing.lol and it's loud and heavy bad smoking in parlor.

Most of foreign thought same thing between "kimono" and "yukata". This is wrong.
多くの外国人は、着物と浴衣が同じだと思っている。これは間違いです。

Over 1,000 years ago, yukata is clothes which people wear as bathrobe, when they go out from bath.Nowadays people can wear it  themselves, so it is used for street clothes for going to fastival and display of fireworks, etc.
浴衣は、1,000年以上前にバスローブのような、湯上がりに着る服でした。
現在では、1人で簡単に着る事が出来るので、祭りや花火大会などの外出着として使われています。

Yukata is like a casual.
浴衣は、カジュアルなイメージです。

The other hand, kimono is difficult to wear, and there are wearing kimono school.
一方、着物は着るのが難しく、着付け教室というのがあるくらいです。しかもとても高価で、安い物でも数十万します。

It's easy to say, I guess kimono is kind of suit, yukata is casual wear as T-shirt and jeans.
簡単に言うと、着物はスーツの類で、浴衣は、Tシャツやジーンズのようなカジュアルウェアといった感じですね。

Anyway, women who wear kimono or yukata are so good!
とにかく、着物や浴衣を着た女性は最高です！

My mother's a one-man exhibition 
母の個展

My mother will held a one-man exhibition today and tomorrow in our house.
僕の母は、今日自宅で個展を開きます。
400 people came to this for 2 days every year.
毎年、2日で400人ぐらい来ます。

She have designed for clothes, bags and so on.
彼女は、服やバックなどのデザイナーをしています。

She began to do as her hobby at first, but she launched " KIKO BLAND".
当初、彼女はこれを趣味で始めたんですが、今は『KIKO BLAND』を立ち上げました。

Her products' concept is "Japanese-style", she remake it by old kimono, and make it by cloth that she dyed.
母の作品へのコンセプトは『和』で、昔の着物をリメイクしたり、自分で染めたりして作ります。

This time, She only made 100 clothes, 30 bags, 30 scarves, 20 peaked caps, etc.
今回、母1人で100着の服、30個のカバン、30枚のスカーフ、20個のハンチングなどを作りました。

I feel proud of my mother.
僕は、母を誇りに思います。

When they are a friendly relationship, there are many thing that they are called nick name. I'll introduce main using nick name.
日本では、親しい間柄では、あだ名（ニックネーム）で呼ばれる事が多い。主に使われるているニックネームを紹介しますね。

This nick name shorten one of name. For example, My name is Hideaki, so it become "Hide".
•名前の一部を省略する
例えば、僕の名前は、英明（ひであき）だから、『ひで』になります。

In this case, it become "Hidechan".
•○○○ちゃん
この場合、『ひでちゃん』になります。

•○○○kun
This nick name is used by only men. In my case, it become "Hidekun".

これは、男だけに使われます。
僕の場合は、『ひでくん』になります。

In my case, it become "Hidecchi".
•○○○っち
僕の場合は、『ひでっち』になります。

In my case, it become "Hidepon".

Japanese records the loan-words by using Katakana. But there are some word imported with wrong meaning.
日本語は外来語をカタカナで表記します。でも、間違った意味で伝えられているものもあります。

Hereafter,for example.
下記に、例を上げます。

●Mansion
This is written in English is "mantion". In Japan, apartment that made by reinforced concrete called "mansion".
●マンション
英語で表記すると『mansion』。
日本では、鉄筋で作られたアパートをマンションと呼びます。

●Cooler
This is written in English is "cooler". This means "air conditioner".
●クーラー
英語で表記すると『cooler』。
意味は、air conditioner です。

●Viking
This is written in English is "viking". This means "buffet style".
●バイキング
英語で表記すると『Viking』。
意味は、buffet style です。

●Three size
This is written in English is "three size". This means "bust-waist-hip measurements".
●スリーサイズ
英語で表記すると『three size』。
意味は、bust-waist-hip measurements です。

●Pair look
This is written in English is "pair look". This means "matching clothing worn by couples".
●ペアルック
英語で表記すると『pair look』。
意味は、matching clothing worn by couples です。

There are such many other word in Japanese.
日本語には他にもたくさんこんな言葉があります。

We had learned that the oldest Japanese characters is kanji was introduced from China before 1,300 years.
僕達は、日本最古の文字は、1300年前に中国から伝わった漢字だと習った。

Actually, in Japan, there are characters "Jindaimoji(ancient Japanese characters)" which was handed down from 3,000-8000 years ago.
実は、3,000〜8,000年前から日本で伝わっている文字『神代文字』が存在します。

This ancient characters remain everywhere in ruins and ancient documents, etc.
至る所に遺跡や古文書などに残っているのです。

This was made about 12,000 years ago, nevertheless, did we use characters for the first time about 12,000 years ago in Japan?

Between 12,000 and 1,300 years is about 10,000 years!
12,000年と1,300年の間は約1万年ですよ！

In 10,000 years is between discovering earthenware and using  characters, did Japanese civilization discover characters?

Tokyo sky tree
東京スカイツリー

Tower called "Tokyo sky tree" will open today.
This is the highest stand-alone communications tower in the world.
東京スカイツリーというタワーが今日、オープンします。これは世界で最も高い自立式電波塔です。

This tower is 634 meters high.It costs to build 65 billion yen. It is the same amount of my saving money...It is joke:)
このタワーは、634メートルの高さです。建設費は、650億円です。丁度、僕の貯金と同じ金額です。冗談です（笑）



To my surprise, There was Tokyo sky tree in picture which Ukiyoe artist Kuniyoshi Utagawa drew 150 years ago! He might predict it.
This is wondering, isn't it?
驚いた事に150年前に浮世絵画家の歌川国芳が描いた絵に東京スカイツリーがあったのです! 彼は、予言してたのかもしれない。不思議ですよね？

The annular solar eclipse
金環日食

This morning, We could see the annular solar eclipse in Japan.
日本で金環日食が見れました！

But I couldn't see perfect annular solar eclipse in Sapporo where I live.
でも、僕の住んでいる札幌では完璧な金環日食を見る事が出来ませんでした。

これは、今朝僕が撮った写真です。


It could be seen side of Japanese Pacific wide area.It was very rare.
日本の太平洋側の広い地域で金環日食が見られました。
非常に珍しい金環日食でした。

The two thirds of all Japanese population, 83 million people could see it.
日本総人口の３分の２にあたる8300万人が金環日食を見ることが出来きた。

It could be seen so  much wide area since 1080, for 932 years, in Japan.
日本で、これほど広範囲で見られるのは西暦1080年以来、932年ぶりです。

When will I see it again?
This time might be last time during
my alive.
また、いつ見れるのかな？今回が生きている内で最後だったのかもね。

Oh, yes. Actually, it seems that we don't know precise measurement of the sun.
そう、そう、実は、正確な太陽の大きさは分かっていないらしい。

In 2009, Japanese artificial satellite "KAGUYA" could calculate precise measurement of moon, therefore it seems that we can know precise measurement of sun by this  solar eclipse.
2009年に日本の人工衛星『かぐや』が月の大きさを正確に計算できたので、今回の日食で正確な太陽の大きさが分かるそうです。

I'm looking foreword to it.
