This is my grammar book to study grammar, Forest 5th edition.
It's the most famous grammar book in Japan.
The book is used Japanese students in junior high school and high school.
Of course, I had it when I was a student although I didn't read it at all!
I thought it was not necessary because I heard grammar classes, however, I was wrong.
This book is plain and specific and suitable for learning basic English grammar completely.
I'll make the most of it!

Saying "grammar" twice is a bit redundant.

I thought it wasn't necessary because I attended grammar classes, however, I was wrong.
"wasn't" is short for "was not"
"Heard" here doesn't sound right. "Listened to" may be okay, but it doesn't sound natural either.
