In the early days of technology English dominated computers and the internet and so those who wanted to use either had to learn this language.
But now things have changed and english is used less.
Some reasons of this change are that more and more users are not English,computer softwares support now many other languages and finally the internet is used for local information and to comunicate with friends and parents.
