An article on a local paper caught my eyes. It reads managers of celebrities work long hours in Japan. These days, the movement to shorten work hours, called work style reform and led by the government, has been conspicuous in Japan. However, show business which is a battlefield for celebrities and can be seen exceptional will have difficulty following this movement. The reason is celebrities who become popular are sought-after and they can't take days off. Therefore, their manager who needs to be always around them has to follow the same time schedule as their master, leading to long working hours. In order to reduce their long working hours, entertainment agencies are considering a measure such as rotating manager system, however, they also have insufficient staff. So, resolving this issue doesn't seem to be easy.
