I know the Japanese particle も (mo) - means "too" or "also"
Example:
私も - watashi mo - Me too! or Me also!
I also hear it used to express feelings of regret, sorrow, disappointment just by reading people's body language. Then are times when you cannot tell, when they use the word も in the beginning of the sentence.
Does it mean something else or used in another way?
Please help!

も is used as "also" and "too" like you said above.
I don't know a sentence of which も is putted in the beginning.
Do you mean 喪(も) by any chance?
We say 喪に服する(going into mourning).
Is that answer your question?
Sorry for poor Englsih understanding.
Thank you for helping!
BTW (by the way) - I like the sign on your profile picture. It's a good saying.
When we express our feeling of disappointment or anger, especially women, we use "もお~". It's not "も".
For example, もお~、なんでこうなるのよ! もお~、いやだ!
I also think what you hear at the beginning of sentence is 「もう」.
I use this to show frustration..
ex. もうやめて! Stop it NOW!
I think you mean もう right? From my understanding, you can use it like... もう!(Jeez!) or like, "Already..." もう帰る?
You may need to double check with a native speaker. :P
Hi!
"も" is also use "もうすこし" = "more 〜"
For example, "もう1回!" = "One more time !"
