What is the difference between which and what?
For example,
What company do you work for?
Which company are you with?
Which university do you go to?
What food do you like?
Which state is Washington D.C. in?

What in this use means you can respond to any type of 'food' in mind.
Which means you have a 'list'or 'specific 'selection' that you have to choose from.
Ex: What company do you like
me(I can respond to any company since I don't have a specific list)
me: Photon's company!
Ex: Which company do you like
me(Which one do I like since I have no choice but to choose from a list)
Me: Japaneselearning company.
I hope this helps!
