Two days ago, I couldn't find my husband.
We was going to a grocery store.
"Hey! Where are you?"
I saw my husband at the back yard in front of the pool.
"What are you doing here?"
I went to the back yard.
And I saw something that shape like a rat in the pool.
"Please tell me, it's not what I think."
My husband said "What are you talking about?"
Then I realized how it was possible rat would be suicide in the human's pool.
It was very dark night. so I tried to look carefully.
Yes. It must be just leaves's shape.
Maybe I just hoped like that, and finally I believed like that.
so, I said "I thought that was a dead rat. but it's not possible. isn't it?"
Today morning !
I was cooking in the kitchen.
My husband came into the kitchen. and said "It was a rat"
Oh, my god!
I know there are bigger problems in the world.
but this one happens to be mine.
There was no suicide note so most likely it was an accident.
Anyone have any experience or advice with this?
Can I swim in my pool in this summer?
I just moved this house 4 month ago.
It's my first personal inground pool.
And the dead rat swam earlier than me.

Wow, that's pretty shocking! I'm sorry it happened to your first pool, though. I haven't had a dead animal in my pool yet so I can't offer much advice.

Then I realized a rat might have committed suicide/died in our pool. (Suicide is generally considered a human activity....this sounds odd. ㅇㅡㅇ)
Never heard the term "inground pool" before, but then again pools are more of an American or Australian thing.

Only the rich here have pools. In America and Australia they've got so much land and they were settled not that long ago compared to towns and cities in Britain, so in the suburbs there's a lot more middle class people with pools.

I'm not rich. I live in U.S currently. Don't blame of my English. T.T
I've lived here since 2 years ago. And U.S economy is pretty bad now. Real estate market is bad too. but I was lucky to buy this house.
Are you from Britain? I thought you live Korea now.
If I were Korea now, I couldn't affort to buy a house with pool. ^^
