I learned a usage of the term "benefit" yesterday.

I watched an new app's demonstration movie and I commented the sentence below,

"I'll be the one benefited from this app."

But I was pointed out that it was not correct.
I should have written as below.
"I'll be the one benefiting from this app."

I wrote this original sentence because if the subject was "this app", the sentence will be like below,
"This app benefits me."
So, I supposed the passive sentence might be "be benefited".

I learned that sometimes random rules are applied depending on the term.
The term "benefit" was the example.
