I received a bonus today.
I was so happy, but i feel apologetic now.
I asked one of my colleague out for a drink to use bonus. But he said he wouldn't get bonus this term.
I have a excuse for this case.
In Japan, colleagues usually get about the same amount of bonus. Individual performances are not directly reflect on bonus.

I was so happy, but I feel uneasy now.
I asked one of my colleagues out for a drink, just to celebrate receving the bonus.
But, he said he wouldn't get bonus this term.
In Japan, colleagues usually get about the same amount of money for their bonuses.
Individual performance does not directly reflect on how much a person receives for their bonus.
Is the word "appologetic" too serious?
Thank you!!!
