I was looking for a good restaurant to have a drink party next week.
Just before making a reservation, one of the participant told me that he doubts if the restaurant is ok or not. Actually last time I had a lunch there, I felt the service was poor. So I checked the word-of-mouth information, and found that not so many people doesn't recommend there. So I changed my mind and made a reservation at another restaurant.
I don't think it's good to believe in word-of-mouth blindly, anyway I found it useful when I am wondering.

Your sentence was not incorrect. It was just slightly awkward sounding. There are many ways to say this sentence, but this way requires the least amount of correction.
So I checked the word-of-mouth information, and found that not so many people doesn't recommend eating there.
I don't think it's good to believe in word-of-mouth blindly, anyway I found it useful when I was wondering.
I'm ok, I found another restaurant.
