Recently I am got up by my cat early morning.
When I turned on the TV, the English conversation program of Anime was broadcast.
The title is "Hello! mainichi kaasan" and it's the English conversation program version of the popular comic "mainichi kaasan".
The program is five minutes program for kids, It's broadcasting to Friday from Monday.
Today's chunk is "Let it go".
The family scramble for the crabmeat, so the phrase of "Let it go" comes back.
There is this program's iPad app, so I can review the program.
The content is comedy and funny, I'd like to watch continuously.
最近猫に朝早く起こされます。
そんなテレビをつけると、アニメの英会話番組をやっていました。
タイトルは「Hello!毎日かあさん」で、「毎日かあさん」という人気のマンガの英会話番組版です。
子供向けの5分間の番組で、月曜から金曜に放送しています。
今日のCHUNKは「Let it go.」でした。
家族でカニを取り合いになって「Let it go.」と言うフレーズが出てきます。
この番組の iPadアプリがあったので、復習することが出来ます。
内容はコメディでおもしろいので、続けて見たいと思います。

英語と日本語の日記を見てもらえてるかと思うので、すごく参考になりました!
まだ私のレベルは、子供向け番組でやっとですが、精進します!!

Thank you for your correction!!
Excuse me, but I have a quuestion. Is "animation English program" wrong, or are both "animation" and "animated" OK?
Kaotil wrote "chunk," but I don't understand the meaning. You didn't correct it, did you get the meaning? Chunk means "a thik, solid piece" like "chunk of meat." Could you explain it to me? Thank you for your help.
In this case, it seems awkward to me. It's grammatically correct, but debased. I would correct it to "episode", as that would sound much more natural.
Otherwise, "chunk" can be used to mean a large part of anything.
"We dedicated a large chunk of the time just trying to get the car to start,"
"A whole chunk of the people disliked the idea."
"A large chunk of wood feel down and hit my car."
Etcetera. I would advise you to avoid using the word unless you're speaking very casually though.
"animation English program" isn't correct I'm afraid. Animation is a noun and you can't use it as an adjective when the word "English" is in the way. An "animation program" could be grammatically correct but isn't actually used.
That was the only clue I had that you weren't a native speaker, so you are doing very well.
Thank you so much for your explanation about chunk. Now I understand the meaning of it very well. It's great help.
danshub,
Thank you so much for your response. I see. I undertand it. I read many people use an "animation program" so I thought it would work, but as the word "English" is included, it should be animated.
Thank you for your help.
Thanks a lot, danschub and Vermilion and Zarma!!!
Recently, I was awoken early by my cat in the morning. (Recently, my cat woke me up early in the morning.)
This is the most literal translation. "Awoken" sounds a bit awkward here, as it's more of a literary word. "Woken up" is a commonly used substitute for "awoken".
To make this sentence sound better, it might be better to use the active form of "woken up", since English tends to prefer this form.
"Recently, my cat woke me up early in the morning."
Today's episode was "Let it go".
You can use the present "is", but I would use "was", since you watched it in the past. It's probably shown more than once per day, but I would still use "was" in this case.
The family scrambles for the crabmeat, so the phrase "let it go" comes up.
There's a fairly extensive lesson on punctuation within quotations that you should learn at some point. I'll explain a bit of it here. (This is the American version, the British version differs slightly.)
Sentence: The man came up to me and said, "Hey, what's up?"
There's a comma before the quotation. Because "hey, what's up" is all one phrase, the "hey" is capitalized. The punctuation comes inside of the quotation mark.
Sentence 2: The family scrambles for the crab meat, so the phrase "let it go" comes up.
Because "let it go" is part of a larger sentence, the "let" part is not capitalized, and commas are not used.
Also, both "crabmeat" and "crab meat" are acceptable.
Good job :D
I want to use next time!
I got it!!
Thanks Zarma!!!
