I made correction 350 times. Many people are learning Japanese in Lang-8.
I'm happy to help them. Thank everyone who corrected my journal and gave me helpful advice. There are a lot of give-and-take.
I try to correct other's journal depend on their level. I make correction if they have the high level in Japanese. And I add a more natural sentence. But I'm not a teacher.
It's difficult to explain about grammar. I sometimes hesitate how to correct other's journal.

I also am not a teacher, and have significant trouble explaining the harder points of English grammar. However, I almost always try to correct their sentences to sound more natural in English. If their level is higher than other people's, I will use harder and more interesting vocabulary to help them express their thoughts.

There are many ways in which people correct my work. Some correct grammatical errors while preserving the original structure, while others suggest more appropriate terms or phrases that sound more natural. Still others rewrite the entire sentence. Each kind of correction benefits us in different ways. I am truly grateful.
