Hi there!
My name is Peter and I am from New Zealand. I teach English in Kumagaya, Saitama (the hottest place in Japan!), and I have been living here for 6 months. I want to stay here for about 5 years, and become fluent in Japanese.
I love it here in Japan, but my language skill level is so bad!! ごめんね！ I didn't know any Japanese before I arrived in Japan.
Every weekend I go out and meet people, and I am slowly getting better, but I really would like to make friends here too as I think it will be quite beneficial for my 日本語！
I am a professional bass guitar player and I studied music at university. I can teach bass guitar and cello, and also play jazz piano and a little saxophone. In winter, I love skiing and I go every weekend when there is snow! In summer, my favourite hobby is scuba diving. I am an Advanced Open Water diver!
