I look forward to that moment when I know all of the common words with prepositions! After this I'm going to learn different collocations. My friend e-mailed me the interesting book "English Collocations in Use" yesterday. The book in English describes to readers how words work together for fluent and natural English.
I learn new words every day. In addition, I try to review words that I've already learned. The main idea of learning new words is to find out the best way to do it. The best way just for you. I found out this way. As for me, I try to think of the Russian word which will be consonant with the new word. However, sometimes I'm thinking of it for a long time, but if I remember a word by this method, I won't forget it. Once I tried to learn the word "conscious" with preposition "of". I quickly imagined a woman. Her name was Konchita and she was unconscious of being watched. My new word did favour the women's name. It's easy to learn new words by this method for me!

My friend e-mailed me an interesting book (called), "English Collocations in Use" yesterday.
You could use "the" also, but "an" sounds more natural. And also, adding "called" sounds a little bit better, but yours is also correct.
The book in English describes to readers how words work together in fluent and natural English.
Once I tried to learn the word "conscious" with the preposition "of".
Her name was Konchita and she was unaware of being watched.
If you say somebody is "unconscious", it means that they're incapacitated.
"She was conscious of being watched." sounds fine, but I would say "not conscious of being watched" before I would say "unconscious of being watched". However, I believe both are correct.
(does) Anyone else have an opinion?
For instance.
'I wasn't even aware that he was ill' (=I didn't know...)
'She was conscious of being watched' (=She noticed that...)
