危機一髪だった話をします
I will talk my hairbreadth story.
小学校の時の話です。
This story was at elementary school.
当時、僕の周りではエアガンが流行っていて、よく友達と一緒にそれを使って遊んでいました。
In those days, the air gun was popular around me, and I played with my friends using the air gun.
よく撃ち合いをしていた．
We often shot each other.
友達がエアガンを何気なくいじっていた。
My friend touched his air gun in a casual way.
僕はそのことを別に気にせずにいました。
Then I didn’t note his action.
ところが、突然エアガンが暴発して弾が僕の目けて飛んできた！
By the way, his air gun fired suddenly to my eye.
そして直撃した。
And direct hit!
ではどうして、今無事なのか?
But why is it safe?
その理由は、その時たまたまゴーグルを掛けていたからです。
The reason is simple, I wore the goggles incidentally.
撃ち合いをするときだけはゴーグルを大体掛けていた
I was wearing goggle when only shooting with friends.
なので、その時ゴーグルをかけていたのはほんとに偶然でした。
So, it is just lucky to wear the goggles.
もしも、あの時ゴーグルをしてなかったとしたら、失明していたかもしれない。
If I did not wear the goggles, it might become blind.
今思い出しても恐ろしいです。

I will talk my hairbreadth story. <~ i never heard this word "hairbreadth" before, i looked it up and i think "short" or "concise" are better words.
This story was at elementary school. <~ this is okay, but "This story takes place at an elementary school" sounds better for this situation.
In those days, the air gun was popular in my area around me, and I played with my friends using the air gun. <~ "and I played with my friends using the air gun" <~ I understand this but "and my friends and I would play with it." is better.
My friend touched his air gun in a casual way. My friend would hold his gun in a very nonchalant way.
Then I didn’t take note of his action.
By the way, But all of a sudden his air gun fired suddenly right into my eye.
And It was a direct hit!
But why is it safe was it OK?
The reason is simple, incidentally I wore the goggles incidentally.
I was wearing goggles when only shooting around with fake guns with friends.
So, it is I was just lucky to be wearing the goggles.
If I did was not wearing the goggles, it I might have become blind.
I’m afraid of remembering this episode. When i think about it it freaks me out!
It is difficult for me to treat the nominative.
In Japanese, we have a little consciousness of it.
