eco : Are You Picky About Food? (10)

I love eating and I can eat pretty much anything now.
But in my childfood, I couldn't eat celery, rakkyo(pickled shallots) and myoga(Japanese ginger).
All of them are strongly scented.
But now I love them!
I am feeling mature in the sense of tast.

Even so, there is one thing which I can't stomach.
It's raw parsley!
I dislike the flavor, and above all else I can't stand the the unpleasant texture that I can't explain.

Parsley exists to only add cloor to dishes, not to be eaten, I think!

Do you have any food which you cannot eat?

eco : Custom Makes All Things Easy (4)

It is said that "custom makes all things easy".
I really think so.

Today I played the piano for the rehearsal of our gospel choir.
I always lead the choir once a week.
I teach to sing gospel songs and direct the choir usually.
Today the pianist of the choir was absent from the rehearsal, so I had to play the piano.

I felt anxious about accompanying the choir on the piano, because I do that after a long interval.
But I actually enjoyed very much!
The more I play the piano through on-site practice, the more accustomed to playing.
I think that it's an efficient way to get good at playing the piano.
I enjoyed so much, so I want to practice more!
There is a saying in English, "three women make a market".
It may be said that "six women make a department store"!

A gatering of girls is recently called "jyoshi-kai" in Japanese.
I joined all-girl freinds for dinner.
Six girls gathered and had a chat about something or other.

Especially we talked up a storm about "koibana" and "konkatsu".
"Koi-bana" means topic about love relationships.
"Kon-katsu" means effort to look for a mate.

One of girls talked about her exciting story on Valentine's Day.
She gave handmade chocolate to someone in mind.
She told that she was really nervous when she handed him it.
She was so cute. I hope that she would go out him.
Which do you like better "Ramen" or "Tsukemen"?

Ramen is noodel soup that is the most popular food in Japan.
There are many kinds of Ramen soup seasoned by syouyu(soybean sauce), miso(soybean paste), tonkotsu(pork bone) and so on.
I like tonkotsu-syouyu soup(pork bone and soybean sause) best.

Tsukemen is served noodle and thick soup separately, and
we eat noodle dipped with soup.

I used to like Ramen much better than Tsukemen.
But I come to like Tsukemen now.
Because I found the Tsukemen shop that served very delicious one.
Thick noodle and thick soup with chopped roasted pork and half-boiled egg.
The soup is made from pork bone and fish.
It's so delicious!

eco : English Conversation Classes (2)

Yesterday and today I joined English conversation classes.
We talked about jobs, hobbies, movies, music, travel, food and so on.

It was very difficult for me to express myself in appropriate English sentences.
So I only spoke a few words. I felt like a baby.

There is a saying, "Custom makes all things easy".
So I would like to have more opportunities to improve my ability to speak English.

I think I'll have to prepare an explanation of my job in English.
To do this, I must first write down about it in English.
