What Makes You Moved?

Recently, my family and I visited a college festival and watched an intercollegiate rugby football game.
I don't know anything about the rules of rugby but I was moved to see the players pushing against each other and dashing forward to avoid a tackle.
On the way home, I was thinking why I was moved. Actually, I was touched because I easily understood that they've built up their bodies and trained their will to win the game. For me, it doesn't matter whether they win the game or not. I'll be moved if you put all of yourself to anything you do for the better.

What makes you moved?

What Makes You Moved/Emotional? /What moves you?
I'll be moved if you commit yourself to accomplish something for the better.
This is optional. It's quite a hard sentence to word, but I think your original is still okay.
I feel moved when I see strangers helping each other.
I sometimes see strangers helping each other on a train. :D
「勝負は勝ち負けではない、勝ちっぷりと負けっぷりだ」って言ってた。かっこいい言葉。
On the way home, I was thinking about why I was moved.
Because you used "I was moved" in the previous sentence, I think it sounds nicer to say "I was thinking about why I felt this way", as it's less repetitious.
What moves you?
I think this sounds more natural.
On top of that, the emotions among the fans. Strangers being brought together by an event and then hugging each other while sharing a joyful moment.
Sport is very powerful. I can meet a fellow fan of my team far away in a different country, someone that I've never met before, and relive the joys/sorrows of what our team has done. I think it connects people.
> I can meet a fellow fan of my team far away in a different country
what sport are you talking about?
I know that if I meet a Chelsea fan anywhere in the world, that we would be able to relate to that moment in time.
So sport really does bring people together, people who might otherwise have had nothing else in common, to share moments of joy or sorrow. It's quite magical I think.
>I know that if I meet a Chelsea fan anywhere in the world, that we would be able to relate to that moment in time.
Unbelievable but I think that 's true!
Well it's good and it's bad, when things go wrong it can be a bit sad. :(
the one who lost the contest picking up, helping up, the winner (It's too easy for the winner to help the loser);
goodness, kindness, thoughtfulness, consideration -- things like that!
;-)
people of all races and nationalities together and having fun;
You mean baseball games and Lang-8?
Hm, I have to agree with you, but on another sense. When I see overweight people exercising regularly, or people who have lost limbs and running marathons, it moves me, because it's very hard to pick yourself up after traumatic things like that. I was very overweight when I was little and no I am very average (´ ▽`).。o♪♪ ボケ~. Glad that's over with! Have you ever regained your life?
Thanks for leaving your comments.
I regained my health. Last year I had a minor surgery but now I can stay fit. I play tennis once a week and walk and exercise on a regular basis!
What sports do you like? :)
You're welcome~!
Wow!
Hats off to you, surgery is hard~!!
Ooh, my family and I use to play tennis all the time~~!
I swim alot ; v ;. But that's it HAHA! Do you like tennis ~^o^~? Or any other sports?
I sometimes play pingpong, badminton with my family. ~^^~
By the way, rugby is a very popular sport in New Zealand, isn't it?
On the other hand, they are losing a large variety of different experiences.
"What makes you move" is a funny question, this phrase is not very often used.
I think that what gets me he most is music, whether it's siting in a jazz club, or jumping in a rock concert.
Good live music always makes me feel like whoever is playing have some kind of a godly talent.
Well I really don't know how to describe it, you know, it's like it makes me move ^^
cheers
Thanks for your nice comments. Yes, I love listening to music, especially in my car!
>I find it amazing when people dedicate their lives for one thing.
That's the key to succeed, isn't it? If you find the thing you can dedicate your life,
you'll be a happiest person.
Sport-wise indeed requires a lot.
Business-wise, not really. (not where I live at least)
but it depends on the person, I don't dedicate my life to anything in particular, and I enjoy many hobbies and activities.
I think I might have been bored had I spend all my time on one thing only...
