Here's a funny story.
As I said yesterday, I used to travel abroad when I was in collage. The day before my departure, my mother called me and said, "I had a nightmare last night. The plane that you went on board and the other plane hit each other in midair. This is a bad sign, so you shouldn't go." Hearing my mother's talk, I was very upset and said to her, "Mom, give me a break. I paid a lot of money to buy this ticket. I won't cancel my travel."

Now I thank her and feel sorry to her when I think of what I have done to her. . While I was away from home, I didn't send any postcard or call her. She couldn't stop worrying because I used to travel for more than a month. She always worried my safety and I think this is nothing but maternal love.
I came to understand her anxiety after I had my daughters.

My second daughter is planning to go to Germany next year, since she decided to study Germany as her third language at school. This will be the first time for her to go abroad whiteout her family. If she is away from home, I would definitely pray for her safety every day. There's an old saying, "Spare the rod and spoil the child". I totally agree with it, but while she's away, my anxiety would never stop.
