Recently, I have been taught how to write business letters in English and teaching myself what we call "business English" by reading books.
I'm really interested in some coined words come from business English like Guesstimate, Doc, and so on.
According to my friend, business English in American society is changing a little informal and the relationship between the boss and subordinates. However, I'm not sure whether that is happening in Austrailan society and any other English-speaking countries'.
If you know something about business English in your country, would you share it with me?
Besides, I want to know some coined words often used by workers in your country.
Best regards.

I'm really interested in some coined words that come from business English like "guesstimate", "doc", and so on.
According to my friend, business English in American society is changing to become a little more informal and the relationship between the boss and subordinates.
you can also say:
"According to my friend, business English in American society is changing. The relationship between bosses and subordinates is more informal now."
It's longer to say, but puts more emphasis on the second sentence.
However, I'm not sure whether that is happening in Austrailan society or any other English-speaking countries'.
Also I didn't know "guesstimate" comes from business. It's a really silly word.
Thank you for your correction and thank you for noticing me that "guesstimate"
is silly word. I was about to use this^^;
"Friend Day" sounds pretty cool!

Thanks for your comment!
I got your point and my company seems to be the more formal one, so I will try to learn formal English.
