Landed Uninhabited Island!!

It was very fine day last weekend.
My husband and I drove to Sasebo city (Northern district of Nagasaki prefecture).

We visited a national park called "Kuju-Ku shima".
Kuju-ku means "99", and shima is "island".
You know, there're many islands. I heard there're more than 200 islands.
We chartered a small boat and adventured among the islands.

We landed on a uninhabited island, walked around, took picture, found small sea creatures.
I mean, we enjoyed very much as children do.
After left the island, we had chance to see a fish farm.
There were tons of porgies swimming around.
A man let us feed fish. It was very fun because they devoured bait.

We ate hamburgers called "Sasebo Burger".
Sasebo Burger is famous food in Sasebo. It's a very delicious and big hamburger.

How lucky and brave you and your husband are! It must be so nice to travel freely trough the seas! I can only imagine... ^^

Yeah, it was really nice! I hope we lived nearer to the sea.
It took about 2 hours to go to Kuju-ku shima!

I just went on a boat trip trough the sea once in my life, and I can say it was one of the best feelings I've ever had! 2 hours on the sea still seems very little, isn't it? We always want more! ;)

Oh, I want you to try yachting!:D I'm sure you'd enjoy it.
When I lived with my family in another city, I could go to the beach in 20 minutes. I didn't often go there, because I liked the mountains rather than the sea. Now I love the sea, and missed my home town. X(

Thank you for the advice! I will surely look for a yatch "license"! (I don't know how it is called in English ><). Talking about the mountains, have you ever climbed Mount Fuji? By the way, is it really possible to do that? I love those adventure stories... :D

If it's a "dingey yacht," you don't need any licenses! It moves only by water and the sea breeze.
Oh, I've climbed with my grandma when I was a small kid. But not to the top of the mountain. Some of my friends have climbed Mt.Fuji and looked down the sun rising in the morning! I saw that pics, it was amazing! :O

You're right. :D There were many Americans and I felt as if I was in a foreign country. They also enjoyed kayaking, cruising, and standing surfing there.

Wow, that looks like so much fun! I want to go there with my wife. I know Sasebo burger, there are a few Sasebo franchises around Japan. I know a few In Yamanashi and one in Yokohama. There egg and bacon burger is very good but it seems so unhealthy.

I found many burger shops in Sasebo, but I could go only 2 shops of them.
They're very big and high calory, aren't they? :D
If I eat them every day, I would easily become very big fat lady. Ha ha
