still working on my speech

So I am trying to say "My grandmother raised me as a Jehovas witness. But now I am an atheist" or something like that..."I was raised a jehovas witness by my grandmother" could work too.

This is what I came up with:

1. Fui criado por mi abuela una testiga de jehova. Pero ahora soy una atea.

or

2. Mi abuela me criaron una testiga de jehova. Pero ahora soy una atea.


Also, is this "I always play a tough brawny woman with brute strength. I usually play a police officer or someone in the military with lots of guns!":

3. Yo siempre represente a la mujer dura y musculosa con fuerza bruta. Normalment representa una oficial de policia o alguien en el ejercito con muchas armas.


Thanks in advance for any help. The speech is tomorrow and I am terrible at public speaking but I just want to feel confident about what I am saying at least.
