when do you say Chan, san or kun at the end of Japanese names. I don't know when to use them so can somebody help me with this please? Thank you for the time.

san is used as a polite expression while kun for kids or students or subordinates, chan for girls.

日本語で行くぜ。
さんSan→男にも女にも使える。誰対しても使える。
くんKun→男にのみ使える。親しい人に対してしか使えない。
ちゃんChan→男にも女にも使える。女に対して使うことが多い。親しい人もしくは年下の人に対して使う。

basically...
"San" is a title used after the surname or full name. It used for Men & Women.
"Chan" and "Kun" are title used after first name for child.
However, there is also an exception.
