I like reading the really interesting and sometimes incredibly funny entries he writes in a very good English and with Japanese sentences which are really helpful for Japanese learners. Okay, there's actually a reason why despite knowing him for at least half a year on this site I have yet to write a testimonial on his profile. Let's see, where to begin? He's seriously the total package. He's a great corrector who almost always drops by whenever you write a diary. Even if we make the same dumb mistakes over and over again, he is always patient and doesn't give up on you. If you're like me and engages in the type of Japanese learning that's probably not advisable if you don't want to sound like an anime character, he helps you out anyways. Plus I'm sure he'll teach you anything you need to know, and I mean *everything* (snicker). But not only is he a great teacher, he is also a great friend. He's fun to talk to and chat about all sort of things even if it's not related to language learning. So why haven't I written a testimonial? It's because I wanted him all to myself and didn't want to share him with anybody, that's why!

Yoichi-san..where to begin? Well, for starters, he's a brilliant teacher!! I'm always grateful for his helpful Japanese lessons and his detailed corrections of my entries. Not only that, but he writes brilliant English entries, that are always so fun to read!! He's nice, thoughtful and extremely creative! All in all, He's a really great guy, so you'd really be missing out if don't add him right now! :D Oh and he's pretty fluent in English- don't be surprised if you find yourself reaching for a dictionary :P

At first, I wanted to call the police on him because I don't think he *actually* paid his son for that picture...but I decided not to because if Yoichi went to jail, lang-8 would be such a lonely place. Not only does he correct entries often, but he explains his corrections in a way that are easy to understand and to learn from. On top of that, he has an excellent sense of humor. Having this guy as a friend is a blessing!

Yoichi is a really, really good teacher, who goes through trouble of explaining things in detail, not to mention giving awesome advices about things nobody else notices. I love his sense of humor, it really connects many people on a surprising level (CATS team GO!). He is also very creative when it comes to both English and Japanese. P.S. He might be a transformer~

I feel very fortunate to have stumbled across Yoichi's blog. He has a great sense of humor and always manages to find time to help me with my studies. I'm a bit envious of his English skill, and can only hope that one day I can master Japanese in the way he has mastered English.
