um... such as use in conversation between friends??
For example... very=めっちゃ・ちょー　Don't you think?＝じゃね？　　in Japanese young people's words.

Did you write that? ^^ it’s really neat~ I write in cursive but most of my friends don't like to. If you want to know expressions, a lot of "young people" like to say things they hear on popular TV shows like a catch phrase or something catchy or say things off popular YouTube videos. They change all the time and don’t last long, so you kind of have to keep up with them by going online and watching popular TV shows.

Well my friends don't like to write in cursive and I don't think a lot of people like to, but I do.

I love your handwriting, it's so neat. O.o
My handwriting is terrible haha.
I'm in highschool and a lot of the other students don't even know how to write in cursive lol. I think it's more common with older people.
Anyway, which expressions do you specifically want to know about? Katie is right; they do change often now that I think about it.

hmm. You can say that something or someone is "beast". It means that someone or something's really awesome, or someone's amazingly good at something.

"This video game is beast"
"He's beast in soccer"

I'm not a big fan of using cursive because some people get really sloppy with it when they write and i can't read it properly. Mostly older people use it when they write or if your going to sign your name on a document then you would sign it in cursive.

I think recentry we use the word "kami(神)"　instead of beast.
(If you transrate Kami, It means "God" in English though...)

Your cursive is very neat and tidy! I think it might be better than mine, to tell you the truth...

Cursive is supposed to be easier to write, because it flows, but to me, it takes more concentration to write. Most young people, and even older people do not use cursive very often. But a lot of people use cursive for writing their signatures for official documents, receipts, etc.

I have been compiling a list of slang words and phrases that are popular among young people these days. (I am making it for one of my friends on Lang-8, but I will send it to you too ^^) If you have any questions, I will explain them when I have time.
Someday, I think I will write a post about English slang words, haha.

Cursive is probably our equivalent of calligraphy, although it's less of an art. Having said that, it is far less common for people, especially younger people, to use cursive. Most people who use cursive don't even write correct cursive either, a lot of the harder letters they just write as stylized print letters. It is so uncommon to use cursive that my teachers in school would not allow me to write in cursive because they couldn't read it well. I like my cursive so much more than my print handwriting, but I rarely get to use it.
