私とダライラマ
今日、マンチェスタでダライラマを見ました。 ダライラマは年少者のための演説をしました。 演説は、 「Step up and be the change」 とよばれていました、日本語で 「たって、へんかくになれ」。 演説はとても面白かったそしてダライラマは旨い人と思って、いくつくの彼の考えにさんせいです。 たとえば、暴力で紛争をかいけつしてはいけません。

Today I saw the Dalai Lama. He gave a speech for young people, called 'Step up and be the change', or 「たって、へんかくになれ」 in Japanese. I thought that his speech was interesting and that Dalai Lama is a wise person, agreeing with several of his ideas. For example, that one should not use violence to resolve conflicts.
Although I am an atheist, I can appreciate Buddhism.

演説はとても面白かったそしてダライラマは頭の良い人だと思いました。旨い人と思って、いくつかくの彼の考えにさんせいです。
「Kindness is my religion.」と、かいてあります。
演説は、 「Step up and be the change」 とよばれていました、日本語で 「たって、へんかくになれ」。
be the change の和訳としては 「体現しなさい」というのもあるみたいですね。
Step up の和訳は 「たって」なのでしょうか？
The phrase verb としてだと「立って」という意味がないようなのですが・・・
演説はとても面白かったそしてダライラマは賢い人（又は、賢者）だと思います。彼の多くの意見に賛同できました。

I translated 'step up' with 立つ. It means 'rise to the challenge' here. Maybe there is a better Japanse verb to use.
The 'change' is meant to be revolution or reform I think, so I used 変革.

Young peopleは、日本語では一般に「若者」、高年齢層と比べて「若年層」と訳される場合が多いです。:)
