Making friends through the Internet

I finally came to begin twitter and Facebook.
Twitter is easier to put my feeling down in words.
On the other hand, Facebook has too many functions and information for me to manage.
I just have a couple of friends yet and don't know how to expand the relationship.
It's not because of my age though.
I found many elderly people enjoying sharing their pictures and conversations.
They have hundreds of friends.
I'm not shy in reality but I feel timid in the Internet world!

What you wrote is correctly written, however, a better way to say it would be, "I have just a few friends and yes I don't know how to get more friends."

On Facebook, I might not be able to answer to all the greetings from friends if I could make many.
I've just felt a little lonely without many friends like others.
