A Glass Workshop 　ガラス工房

I went to a glass workshop as an event for our kodomo-kai today.

I ordered a round of packed lunches from a neighbor shop a few weeks ago, and this morning I went for them before we get together at the meeting place.
It was cloudy but not too hot and not too cold, and all of the members were fine.
We all got on my car and started. Let's go!!(*^^)v

First, we went to a park before we go to the glass workshop.
At the park, kids played the bingo games and got little something.
And then, we had lunch and played around there.

We left there in time for the starting time of glass working experience.
We went through a kind of the mountain road, and every time to pass through the curve of the road, all kids were excited with joy.

Finally, it was time to get the experience!!
A staff gave us some materials and tools. There were many pieces of some colored glasses there.
We listened to how to make it and the precaution.
We choosed between to make a plate or to make a photo frame, and each made it absorbedly in our own way.

Our works will be complete by burning. Maybe we'll get them one weeks later. I'm looking forward to it.

I'm happy that all member enjoyed today's event. (*^^)v

私は今日、子ども会のイベントとしてガラス工房へ行きました。

数週間前に、近くのお店に人数分のお弁当を頼んでおき、そして今日の午前中、みんなが集合場所に集まる前に取りに行きました。曇りでしたが、暑すぎず寒すぎず、そしてメンバー全員が元気でした。
全員でうちの車に乗り込み、出発。レッツゴー！！(*^^)v

まず、ガラス工房に行く前に公園に行きました。
公園で子どもたちはBINGOゲームをし、そしてちょっとしたものをもらいました。
それから、昼ごはんを食べ、そこで遊びました。

ガラス工芸体験が始まる時間に間に合うようにそこを出発しました。
ちょっとした山道を通り、カーブにさしかかる度に、子どもたちは皆大喜びでした(笑)。

いよいよ、ガラス工芸体験の時間！！
スタッフの方が、材料と道具を用意してくれました。そこには、数色の色ガラスがたくさんありました。
私たちは作り方と注意事項を聞きました。
皿を作るか、フォトフレームを作るかを選び、それぞれ夢中になって思い思いに作品をつくりました。

私たちの作品は、焼成してもらって完成します。たぶん、１週間後くらいに手に入れることができると思います。楽しみです。

メンバーのみんなが今日のイベントを楽しんでくれたようで、嬉しいです。(*^^)v
