Do you know Misuzu Kaneko/金子みすゞ?
She is a famous woman poet of children's songs in Japan.
Her famous poem is "わたしと小鳥と鈴と/Watashi to Kotori to Suzu to.".

/Me and a little bird and a bell.
わたしが両手を広げても
お空はちっとも飛べないが
/Watashi ga Ryoute wo Hirogetemo
Osora wa Chittomo Tobenaiga.
/Even if I opened my arms, I can't fly in the sky.
飛べる小鳥はわたしのように
地べたを早くは走れない
/Toberu Kotori wa Watashi no youni
Jibeta wo Hayaku wa Hashirenai.
/A little bird can fly.
However, it can't runs fast on the ground like me.
わたしが体をゆすっても
きれいな音は出ないけれど
/Watashi ga Karada wo Yusuttemo
Kirei na Oto wa Denaikeredo.
/Even if I shaked my body, my body won't ring beautiful sound.
あの鳴る鈴はわたしのように
たくさんな歌は知らないよ
/Ano Naru Suzu wa Watashi no youni
Takusan na Uta wa Siranaiyo.
/This bell can ring.
However, it doesn't know a lot of song like me.

I hope you don't mind, but instead of posting my corrections directly, I wrote my own translation. This is only a first draft, and only the meaning. I think to translate it more correctly, one would need to find a suitable meter, at least; I don't think it would need rhyme, but a rhythm would be appropriate.
And of course, between rewriting, one would need to allow enough time for the mind to properly consider what the best words would be. Translating poetry is difficult! I think you did very well.
Here's my version:
わたしと小鳥と鈴と
Me, a little bird, and a bell
わたしが両手を広げても
お空はちっとも飛べないが
Although even if I spread both arms,
I could not fly in the sky at all,
飛べる小鳥はわたしのように
地べたを早くは走れない
The little flying bird
Cannot run swiftly across the ground as I.
わたしが体をゆすっても
きれいな音は出ないけれど
Although even if I shook my body
No beautiful sound would ring out,
あの鳴る鈴はわたしのように
たくさんな歌は知らないよ
This ringing bell
Does not know many songs as I.
鈴と小鳥と それからわたし
みんな違って みんないい
The bell, the little bird, and I as well,
All different, all good.
