The other day, I watched an interesting TV show.
It was about a British airplane company which tried to improve their meals served to passengers during international flight.
In the middle of the show, there was a scene a chef hired by the company said Umami so many times. Umami is the fifth taste sensation and it was discovered by a Japanese scientist.
I was surprised because I had never seen non-Japanese used the word before.
I didn't know Umami is a common word.
