I've been studying Japanese for a couple months but I feel that i'm not making anymore progress. It is so hard for me to learn because I dont know anyone serious enough to help me.
Lang-8 is very useful for correcting peoples entries but I can not write full entries yet so I don't know what to do. I tried tutor but that was so much money ($40.00 an hour).
I can't pay that because I pay for college and a lot of other things. My school also has no Japanese courses. It makes me sad and mad because I want to learn so bad. I get too distracted any bored when learning online. I can only do it for so long.
Just thought I share my situation! haha
One day I will be fluent in Japanese..:D

I think you do not need to make perfect entry each time,

How can we say "**************" in Japanese?
That can be an entry.

Too hard to learn Japaneseにほんごをまなぶのは むずかしすぎる
I've been studying Japanese for a couple months but I feel that i'm not making anymore progress.すうかげつ にほんごを べんきょうしていますが、ぜんぜんじぶんが しんぽしていないきがします(with Kanji 、数か月日本語を勉強していますが、全然自分が 進歩していない 気がします)
I tried tutor but that was so much money ($40.00 an hour).チューター(こじん レッスン)をためしてみたが、これはおかねがかかる。 (いちじかんで40ドル)((個人レッスンを試してみたが、 お金がかかる。
I can't pay that because I pay for college and a lot of other things. ぼくは(わたしは)そんなにはらえない、なぜなら だいがくや ほかのおおくのこともじぶんではらっているから。私はそんなにはらえない。なぜなら、大学や他の多くのことも自分で払っているから。

日本語の勉強、頑張ってね!
I feel sad when I read this diary.
Let's become Lang-8 friends, and I could always find your new diary.
Though I may be at or over your mother's age, if you don't mind it.
And you don't have to write full diary in Japanese.
I saw the other people's diary like the below;
title: practice ば
body: 明日になれば、晴れるでしょう。
It will be shiny tomorrow.
I don't remember it exactly, but some sentences using "ば" were following.
And quite a few people commented to that diary.
If it is difficult for you to make a sentence, how about making only a phrase.
My English is poor and I can't fully write what I want to say to you,
but I hope you would understand my thought.
Have you already got all hiragana and katakana!?
Wow! Excellent!
It means that you have already been able to read the whole books aloud when they are written in hiragana or katakana, like learning Japanese textbooks or kids books.
As you already know, hiragana and katakana express their each sounds only.
But kanji expresses its meaning and sound.
I guess you perhaps know the examples below;
The letter "女" means "woman".
The letter "良" means "good".
The letter "古" means "old".
The letter "家" means "house".
And now,
"女"(woman) + "良"(good) = "娘" (means "young girl" or "daughter")
"女"(woman) + "古"(old) = "姑" (means "mother in law")
"女"(woman) + "家"(house)= "嫁" (means "bride" or "wife")
Aren't they interesting like puzzles, are they?
I hope you enjoy learning basic kanji.
よろしくお願いします、jayandrews.
If you write a diary in Japanese, I'll correct it:)
Nice to meet you, jayandrews.
