Watashi wa Tom-san he omiyage wo agemasu
Do you want to say "I will give a souvenir to Tom-san."??
And thank you for answering! ^-^
"I gave tom a souvenir"
> Watashi ha Tom-san he omiyage wo agemashita. is correct.
Yes, masu is for present and future.
"he" means "for" or "to"
"I gave tom a souvenir"
> Watashi ha Tom-san he omiyage wo agemashita.
ageru = normal verb >present or future
agemasu = polite verb >present or future
ageta = normal verb >past
agemashita = polite verb >past
Does it make sense? My explanation is not good, so sorry.
Japanese is a strange language...
