ESSAY 4.10 Some people think that it would be a good idea for schools to teach every young person how to be a good parent. Do you agree or disagree with this opinion? Describe the skills a person needs to be a good parent.

There exist some individuals that support the view that minors in schools should be taught how they ought to be good mothers and fathers. As far as I am concerned, I need to contemplate both advantages and disadvantages of this idea before adopting a standpoint.

With regard to the arguments in favour of teaching children how to be a good parents, there are several of them. The chief one is that according to sociological research, those youngsters who have studied principles of being an authoritative parent, such as ability to look after children, knowledge how to feed them and how to change diapers (nappies ?), pay enough attention to children's demands and many other things, might do that easier and faster when they will have become adults. Another worthwhile argument is that not only might this knowledge be one of the reasons for earning easy ways how to bring up little boys and girls, but it also could improve a demographic level (situation?) in a country. So, to sum up, there are some positive aspects.

On the flip side, there exist adverse arguments against of educating minors how to be good fathers and mothers. One of them might be that earned knowledge might suppress or substitute their desire to gain (obtain?) something new in children's upbringing. Perhaps, if minors did not study how to be a good parent in schools, they would probably find their own ways how parents should behave themselves. Another undesirable aspect could be that these lessons might cause rising level of early pregnancies for the simple reason that young girls might think that it is quite easy ta have a baby. Ultimately, it has to be admitted that there exist some poor aspects.

Taking the aforementioned into consideration, I find it is possible to conclude that there exist some benefits of teaching minors what do good parents mean, and, also there exist some drawbacks. In my context, I am inclined to think that it depends.
